EtherCAT 是 Beckhoff 开发的基于以太网的现场总线。该协议适用于自动化技术中的硬实时和软实时要求。除了由于使用求和帧电报而在逻辑上变得必要的环形结构之外，EtherCAT 技术还在物理上支持线形、树形、星形（有限）等拓扑以及这些拓扑的组合。贝加莱的 X20BC80G3（可扩展总线控制器模块）和 X20HB88G0（独立连接基础模块）可用于实现这些拓扑。 贝加莱模块X20BC00G3当报文通过设备时，EtherCAT 从站设备从报文中获取为其的数据。输入数据也会在电报通过时添加到其中。总线控制器允许 X2X Link I/O 模块耦合到 EtherCAT 并在任何 EtherCAT 主站系统上运行。通过根据需要在最远 100 m 的距离上依次布置 X20、X67 或 XV 模块，可以在控制柜外部实现 IP20 和 IP67 防护等级之间的转换。 贝加莱模块X20BC00G3不支持 FoE（通过 EtherCAT 进行文件访问）支持的主系统需要适当的配置工具来传输配置（可选）。 用于总线控制器的系统模块
